Obituary of Olive Côté

Peacefully at the Nipissing Serenity Hospice on Thursday, March 24^th, 2022. Olive (nee Candy) was the wife of the late Romauld “Ray” Côté, she was in her 80th year. She was the loving mother of Nancy Côté of Timmins, John Côté of Redbridge, and Diane Hughes (Brian) of Elmira. Olive was predeceased by her son Peter, her son in law William (Billy), her daughter in law Yvonne (Missy) and by her siblings David, Janet and Peter. Lovingly remembered by her seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Dearly loved sister of Beryl, Eleanor and Jo-Anne. Olive was a Support Worker with Community Living North Bay for many years, continuing to help even after retirement. She fostered many great friends over the years as she sold Avon and as a member of the North Bay Elks Lodge. A Celebration of Life will be held at Elk’s Lodge on Sunday March 27 from 1-4 P.M. Cremation, with her ashes being interred in the Candy family plot in Montreal. If desired, donations to the Elks Lodge Children’s Fund or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by her family.
