Irène Duhaime Nadeau

It is with a heavy heart that the family announces the peaceful passing of our mother Irène Duhaime Nadeau at the Mattawa Hospital on January 19th, 2022. She was 85.

Loving mother of Adrienne Langlois (Roger), Monique Bouchard (Daniel), Gilles Nadeau (Sylvie), Rénald Nadeau (Mildred), and Germaine Lafreniére (Paul).

She will be sadly missed by her nine grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She will also be missed by her many nieces, nephews, and close friends.

She is survived by her sister Agnès Chénard (Régent) and her sister-in-law Mrs. Fernande Duhaime.

She was predeceased by her parents Alberta and Valmore Duhaime, two brothers, Conrad and Henri and six sisters, Lucienne, Antoinette, Lorette, Jacqueline, Rollande and Simone.

The family would like to express its sincere appreciation for all the love and kindness shown by the nurses, staff, and doctors at the Mattawa Hospital. We are truly blessed to have had them take such good care of out mother for the past couple of years.  Donations to the Mattawa Hospital (Mattawahealth.ca/Donations) would be greatly appreciated in lieu of flowers. Due to the current pandemic restrictions, there will be a funeral mass at Ste. Anne Catholic Church at a later date. Our mother was a good woman of faith, please keep her in your prayers.
