McLaren, Juanita Marion (nee Sheilds)

 July 5, 1922- September 11, 2021

Passed away peacefully at Nipissing Manor on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at the age of 99 years. Juanita was predeceased by her husband Basil, her son Brian, sisters Gwen, Emily, Daisy, and brother James.  She is survived by her two sons, Paul (Annie-Lou) and Sheldon (Helen), sister Ruth and brother David. Juanita will be sadly missed by her four grandchildren Shane, Jillian, Jason, and Alyson, along with her six great-grandchildren and most especially by Debby McLaren who was her personal caregiver. Juanita was born raised and resided in Rutherglen a lot of her life. She and her husband Basil were very ambitious and successful with achieving their many quests throughout their working years.  Family will receive friends at the MARTYN FUNERAL HOME 464 Wyld Street North Bay on Wednesday, September 15, 2021, from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 p.m.  Please call the Martyn Funeral Home at 705-472-8810, to reserve a time for the Visitation or Funeral. Masks must be worn while in the Funeral Home, and please respect Social Distancing.  Burial to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Rutherglen.  If desired, donations to the charity of your choice would be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
