Obituary of Donald Arthur Houghton

HOUGHTON, Donald Arthur

 December 2, 1933-November 15, 2020

With great sadness, the family of Donald Houghton announces his passing while in his 87^th year. Son of the Late Arthur Houghton Jr. and the Late Dorothy Gibbs. Beloved husband of Carolyn (Barty) of 66 years. Much loved father of Pat, Cathy (Ranger) and Anita. Loving grandfather (Mäke) of Käte Ranger. Much Loved brother of Clifford Houghton.

Don was born in Rouyn-Noranda and raised in Northern Ontario. Don was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. He loved to share stories and make us laugh. He left his mark on our lives and our hearts. Don recently celebrated his 50^th year with Friends of Bill W. Long time (retired) employee of ONR Police.

The family sincerely appreciates Dr. Cowan, Braden and Michael for their compassion and dedication to Don. Also thank you to the Staff of Para Med and Care Partners for providing support and care.
