Obituary of Estelle Yvonne Curran

Passed away peacefully with her loved ones by her side at the Algonquin Nursing Home on Thursday, November 5th, 2020. She was in her 85th year. Estelle was the beloved wife of the late Denzil ‘Jack’ Curran. Loving mother of Mike Curran (Carole) of Mattawa, Eleanor Bell (Mike) of North Bay, Tracey Belanger (Raymond) of Mattawa and Kristine Duquette (Lonnie) of Eau Claire. She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Scott (Andrea), Mindy (Nick), Sabrina (Steven), Elizabeth (Ashley), Stephane (Courtney), Mathieu (Ainsley) Shelby (Jeff) and Jared as well as 10 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Survived by her sister Maryln Maxwell (Clifford). Predeceased by her sisters Irene Trahan (Wildos), Gertie Baskey (Ron), Maize Flood (Don) and brother Armand Robitaille (Diane). Respecting her wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or funeral service. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  Estelle’s family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at the Algonquin Nursing Home for the compassionate care they gave our mother. If desired, donations to the Algonquin Nursing Home would be appreciated by the family.
