Wilson, Alan “Big Al”
Passed away peacefully at the Mattawa Hospital on July 13, 2020 at the age of 64. Alan was born and raised in Toronto, moving to Mattawa in 1997. He was the beloved son of the late Mildred Wilson. Father to Shannon (Sophie), Shyla, Farrah (Ryan). Grandfather to Jesse, Chelsea and Hailey. Great grandfather to Kaeden and Kai. Survived by his siblings Carole, Loyd, India, Donna, Patsy, Cathy (Dave), Roger. Predeceased by siblings Peggy and Les. He will also be remembered by his many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Alan liked to make people laugh and enjoying being in social settings. He has a love for the game of tennis and a talent for playing drums. Cremation has taken place at Forest Lawn Crematorium. Arrangements are entrusted to Martyn Funeral Home. If desired, donations to the Brain Injury Canada would be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
