Obituary of Rene Joseph Vaillancourt

VAILLANCOURT – Rene

At the North Bay Regional Health Center on Sunday May 24, 2020, at the age of 70 years.  For the past 51 years Rene has been the devoted and loving husband of Sophia.  He will be remembered by many for his 35 year career as a caring and compassionate paramedic in North Bay, and his many years teaching CPR.  He will be lovingly remembered by his sons Rene Knight (Carol) and Jeff Vaillancourt.  A wonderful grandpa to Dayne Knight (Jenna), Justin Vaillancourt, Josephine Vaillancourt, Jordan Knight, René Knight, Jessica Knight and Brandon Knight and great grandpa to Marshall and Dylan Knight.  He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Visitation will be held at Martyn Funeral Home on Thursday afternoon from 2 – 4 pm.  In keeping with restrictions imposed under the current pandemic visitation is limited to five individuals at any one time.
