Obituary of Anne Marie Merrick
Peacefully at the Algonquin Nursing Home in Mattawa on September 8, 2019 at the age of 73 years.
Anne is predeceased by her parents Daniel LeClair and Adeline Pierce (Lewis), and her sisters Roberta and Diana.
Anne leaves behind to mourn her passing her brother Tom LeClair of North Bay, her children Betty Sikora (Jim) of North Bay, and Daryl (Brenda) of King Kirkland. Also Bonnie L'Heureux (Joey) of Sudbury and Sheri Wabie (Bree) of Mattawa, who were like daughters to her.
Anne leaves a legacy of 5 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.
Anne lived most of her life in Kirkland Lake, until an unfortunate accident caused her to move to the Algonquin Nursing Home in Mattawa to be closer to specialized medical care.
She adjusted quickly to her new home and became a part of the nursing home family of staff and residents, having a happy, rich and full life.
As per Anne's wishes, cremation has taken place.
Anne's family would like to thank everyone who cared for her over the last 4 years.
The Algonquin Nursing Home staff, Martel and Mitchell Physiotherapy, Cat Trudel of Hands on Health, and Dr. Len Gushe, for all their exceptional care.
Anne touched the lives of all who knew her, sharing her wisdom, and helping others whenever she could.
She made the world a much brighter place with her infectious smile.
