TINDALL, Arnold Earl

Peacefully at Eastholme in Powassan on Wednesday May 22, 2019. Predeceased by his
parents Lawrence Tindall and Gertrude (Quirt) and his wife Beryl (Taylor). Left to mourn are his children Lauren (Brian), Bruce (Marlene), Margaret Beaudette (John), and Valerie Lacharity, his grandchildren David (Darlene), Matthew (Karyne), Rachel, Ruth (Chase), Tim, Danny, Melissa (Alex), Amanda, and Andrew, his great grandchildren Taavi, Magellan, Danika, Annie, Kanen, Mikaël, Cassandra, Cyrus and Miranda, his sisters Beryl Washburn and Keitha Shillington (Floyd), and many nieces and nephews.
Born and raised in North Bay, he moved around the province during his career in the public school system as teacher, principal, school inspector and director of education. Summers included family camping trips and running his home-built boat to take the kids waterskiing.
After retiring he moved to live full-time in the home that he and Beryl built on Lake Commanda.
Arnold’s ashes will be interred in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Restoule, following a memorial service to celebrate his life. If desired donations to Restoule United Church will be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy. Online condolences may be left at
