Obituary of Bill Taylor

Taylor, William Melville – Passed away peacefully at his home on December 31, 2018 in his 94^th year. Bill was the beloved husband of Ruth (Coombes) for 69 years.  Loving father of Sylvie (Taylor) Duggan and Michael (Gilles) Taylor. Much loved grandfather to Aubrey Taylor, Melissa Taylor (Dag Gebremedhin), Crystal Duggan and Carl Duggan.  Great grandfather to Angel, Audrey, Aiden, Desiree, Heaven, Noah and Kierra.  Pre-deceased by his father Melville, his mother Gertrude (Hughes), his sister Marion and brother in law Bill Dengler and his son in law Ron Duggan.  He will be missed by his nephews Bob and Peter (Barb).  Bill found joy in many aspects of his life:  in the classroom, on the ski hill, playing tennis, and walking his dogs, but mostly, Bill found joy in the company of his family, friends and students. Visitation at Emmanuel United Church on Wednesday, January 9, 2018 from 11:00 AM until the memorial at 1 PM.  There will be reception afterwards graciously provided by the Emmanuel United Church UCW.  If desired, donations to the Emmanuel United Church Memorial Fund, One Kids Place, or the Gathering Place will be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.  Online condolences at www.Martynfh.com
