There are no words to adequately express the sadness we felt when learning of Joey's sad passing. It came as a great shock to hear of his sudden death; it feels like the world has stopped in honor of "Little Joe". As long as our fond memories of Joey remain, they will inspire new life. We hope that time will heal everyone's grief and help each of us to accept the sad passing of Joey as a step on a journey that never ends, and that everyone may be able to take some comfort from the many tributes paid to Joey by those who held him close in their heart. Sincere condolences to Joey's family and friends; we share our grief for Joey who lit up our lives with laughter, kindness and love.

Hard to believe my baby brother is gone. May he be at peace.
Many fond memories of Joe growing up. He loved fishing, outdoors and animals ( horses, dogs, cats etc.) He liked to play practical jokes on his brother Jeff and tease his sisters. Sorry I couldn't be in North Bay on Sat. to reflect on his life. But my memories of Joe are close to my heart.
Lovingly remembered
Jenny

To the Young Families
We were saddened to hear of Joes passing. He was a one of the good guys that we who knew him will never forget. I have Many good memories of Joe, Trevor, Shawn and all the gang ski-doing.I was the new guy that couldn't keep up to others with my phazer but Joe would always slow down and wait. He was just a sincere kind hearted man that didn't deserve to go out this quick but im sure he will make others smile above.
Rest in piece Joe

On behalf of all residents of Nipissing Condo No. 17, I offer our sincere condolences to Joe's family. Our association with Joe was tragically cut short, but in the short time he worked in our building he fostered great respect and friendship. In our experience, Joe was a wonderful man who wore his heart on his sleeve and easily reached those who he encountered. We feel fortunate to have had him join us and despite our short association, we will miss him greatly. He was a pleasure to know.
