Piercey, William Frederick

Passed away peacefully with his family by his side at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Wednesday, September 19, 2018, he was in his 87^th year.  Beloved husband of Alma Piercey (nee McLeod) of North Bay.  Cherished father of Bernie McLeod of Sudbury, Brian Piercey of North Bay, David (Lisa) Piercey of Hawkesbury and predeceased by his infant son Donald.  Proud grandfather of Jamie, Sarah, Kyle, Samantha, Joshua, Emily, Lacy and great-granddaughters Lily, Alice and Aerith Journey.  William is sadly missed by his siblings Bernice Sypher, Brian Piercey and predeceased by Allan, Eric, Marjory, Ralph, Dorothy and Ken. William worked for Inco for 25 years. Family will receive visitors at Martyn Funeral Home on Sunday, September 23, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Cremation will take place following the service.  If desired, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or Heart & Stroke Foundation would be gratefully acknowledged as expression of sympathy.
