Obituary of Bernice Nina Workman

Bernice passed away peacefully at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 in her 89th year.  Dear wife of Bill Workman. Loving mother of William (Xin), Joan (Wendy), and Cam (Michelle) Graham.  Cherished grandmother of Karac and Sydney Graham, Isaac and Kagen Workman, Reina and Seiji Watanabe. Bernice spent most of her early years in Burlington, arriving in North Bay in 1976. She worked at the North Bay Civic Hospital for many years.  Bernice loved to play bridge. She was an avid world traveller, a volunteer with Phone Busters, and a member of both the Heritage Gardeners, and the Emmanuel United Church congregation. Friends may call at Martyn Funeral Home on Friday, August 3 from 1-3 pm. A celebration of Bernice’s life will follow at 3 pm.  Her family wishes to extend thanks to the hospital staff on D3 and Dr. Rotondo for their compassion, grace and patience through Bernice’s final days.  If desired, donations to the NBRHC would be appreciated.
