Bill Hueston was an inspiration to me and played a major role in my career with L&F and MNR. I was very fond of both Bill and Marion and send my condolences to the Hueston family.

Dear Jeff, Stephen, Joel and families, I am very sorry for your loss. I haven't done well at staying in touch with my aunt Marion, but my wife Aki and I did get in a wonderful visit with her in Bobcaygeon four years ago. She was her usual rugged and fiercely capable self and took us on a great tour of the local loch system, as well as the surrounding area. We had intended to visit her in North Bay this summer coming, and are saddened at being thwarted in this. We still plan to visit with Chuck and Phyllis, though they don't yet know it! Thinking of you all, Dave and Aki Victoria, BC

We (my Mom and Dad, sibs Pete, Barb, Dave and myself) had gone for an intended brief Sunday drive after church to see the fall colours. We drove and drove and wound up in North Bay from a starting point of Bath, Maine. Aunt Marion and Uncle Bill graciously made room for six unexpected guests at the Thanksgiving dinner table which was long and heavily laden with every sumptious repast imaginable. It was too large a table to pass everything around. I remember Aunt Marion slicing 'er up and literally tossing slabs of meat onto each awaiting plate, and not missing although there were a few peas sent skittering here and there! I watched this with great amusement and delight and even at the tender age of eleven I realised that the skillful food-slinging proved this may not have been the first time dinner had been served in this manner. It was just a small inconsequential thing but I loved it! My memory might be faulty as it was nearly fifty years ago but I think not. I know I have been neglectful of family and for that I am truly sorry, and Aunt Marion has always been near and dear to me. She is much loved and much missed. Love to the whole family.
